Jeff:

All right. Thanks, everybody. What you're probably not going to know and don't care about is I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to get this thing started. Just because everybody happens to be gone tonight in my house, and so I thought it would be a good opportunity to record and kind of go over what's going on in some market things, supply chain. And the internet wasn't working whatever, right. And that's when everything wasn't working, man. Couldn't get zoom or the other podcast to you whatever such as life. So I just thought, thanks for joining Jeff with a chain reaction, Jeff Davis. Let's go over some manufacturing PMI from a industry for supply management. Fun stuff. It is at 47. 8%. That is going to be focused on new orders, production, supplier deliveries, which are slowing, which is going to be an increase in lead time. And then raw material inventories, contracting customer inventories are too low. Which for me, I'm afraid for order. So. That means air freight opportunities. If, if I'm reading that right, prices are increasing on exports and imports. Yes, that is exactly correct. And not for the right reasons. I mean, it's. I think it's kind of a bogus deal, but so here's this is from Timothy Fiore, manufacturing overall economy continued in expansion for the 46th month after one month of contraction in April, 2020. Yeah, this is for February 2024. Okay. I think that's a typo. New orders index moved back into contraction at 49. 2. So this is a good report. If you want this, hit me up. Jeff. Davis at Bridgestone invest. com. Jeff Davis, Jeff. Davis at Bridgestone. invest. com of the six biggest manufacturing industries, fabricated metal products, chemical products, and transportation equipment registered growth in February. Demand is at the early stages of recovery. Production execution is relatively stable. I really I want to see what last month, what I want to say was at 49. I want to say this dropped. I can't bet I can pull it up PMI in January, but that I mean, all in all, it's good all in all. This is a good sign in January. I was right. It was at 49 in January. New order. So it is down. What's some other news? The Huthi stuff is in a real is in a lot of news. That's a real bummer. So the, the prices on ocean freight, TPEB, everything is getting jacked up. What I, what I'm seeing, that's some, it's like ocean freight out of China and then air freight out of India is, is getting all messed up. I'd love to see what you guys are seeing, you know, trucking in the Like it's, everything is, is regular. Of course, right now we'll see what everybody says is going to be dictating the market TPM is going on right now. I did not get an invitation, but I'm interested in hearing what. The outcome of that is, and what the temperature of the market from the big guys, right, from the, from the major carriers from the mares and the CMAs, and then from the Walmart and the Costco's where those contracts going to land, my prediction is that we see you know, 1300 to 1600 to the west coast. And we begin to see some stabilization pretty soon. I don't, I don't see the The Red Sea having so much of an effect moving forward. Twitch post, DHL, limited earnings growth for DHL. I mean, how much can they grow? They're massive. They're just freaking huge. Night Swift swaps out leadership. Who cares? I was reading some stuff the other night on some drilling contract. Like some, there's a, there's a lot more activity in the oil field going on in the Gulf. It's a little surprising. On the Chinese are signing on with drill quip subsea wellhead on the Chinese are investing in Mexico to nuke major subsea production system in Australia and in Mexico deal with Exxon Canada diverter system for pressure balance drilling in hibernia field in Newfoundland. So there's plenty of activity going on. Not in the U S though, we have to maintain safety and then not going to be shipping related, but look at that Bitcoin price 66 grand. So I hope you did not. Jump off the building and you held on because to the moon. That is awesome. So that's nice. I've got my Bitcoin, hope y'all have yours. So let me know if you want, if you're listening and you want a copy of that ISM report, there's some ISM events coming up here in Houston, two weeks. at St. Arnold's Brewery on the 19th of March Jeff. Davis at Bridgestoneinvest. com. We've got a golf tournament in May at Blackhorse. If you want to attend that let me know and I can put you let me know if you want to sponsor. You're, you're welcome to sponsor. We have some sponsorship opportunities. We have some volunteer opportunities. Let me know. Jeff dot Davis at Bridgestone invest. com. And if there's anything we can help you with you know, if you, if you want to, to come to an event, a dinner would happy to get you out there. It's a great organization. And then. That's it. Hope it wasn't much to do. I kind of got caught off guard tonight because it was technology was not helping me. So I apologize for that. Take care. Please remember to like and share and subscribe. Bye.
